A native of western Pennsylvania, Andrew is a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He earned a law degree from Duquesne University. Andrew practices in southwestern Pennsylvania specializing in elder law, personal injury, municipal law, and civil litigation. He represents seven municipal bodies and regularly appears before the Allegheny and Washington County Courts of Common Pleas. He currently serves a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing approximately 65,000 people in the Mon Valley and South Hills of Pittsburgh. He serves on four Pennsylvania House committees this legislative session: Local Government, Professional Licensure, Game and Fisheries, and Community Development. He previously served for six years on the Elizabeth Township Board of Commissioners, one of which he served as President. He has been featured on national news for legislation he introduced in the Pennsylvania General Assembly banning Tianeptine, known as "Gas Station Heroin." This legislation is aimed at saving lives and fighting the drug epidemic. Andrew resides in Elizabeth Township with his wife, Hannah, and their daughter, Natalie Mae.
